Positive Negative

A unit is described as a living facility with both cooking facilities (kitchen) and human waste disposal (bathrooms). According to this definition if your home had two kitchens and two bathrooms it would be two units.
This use of the identifier “unit” normally comes up when talking about apartments and such but using your home again as an example, if your home has one kitchen and 2 baths, that would be one unit; but if you had a mother-in-law suite built in the back of the property and it had a kitchen and a bath, then your “property” would contain two units.
